A complex bundle of sticks

Property rights are often called a “bundle of sticks”; a particularly tangled bundle was the subject of RPD Holdings LLC v. Tech Pharmacy Servcs. Careful examination of both sides’ specific obligations under a patent license led to the conclusion that it was an executory contract, rejected by operation of law during one of the parties’ Chapter 7 bankruptcy case.
